Carrots: The New Super Root!
Carrots, as almost everybody knows, are an incredible source of Vitamin A, which helps improve and maintain our eyesight, strengthen our bones, teeth, and even skin. Along with these health benefactors, there are also a ton of things we don't know about these taproots.
For most of the American population, we see the vegetable known as the carrot as the generic orange spear, sometimes made into a juice for dieters, or even baked into a cake with cream cheese frosting. Yet despite this stereotype, carrots are so much more than that. They can be almost any flavor you can imagine, sweet, sour, savory, spicy, everything you can dream of. Among flavors, carrots also come in a variety of colors, such as purple, orange, red, blue, and basically the whole spectrum.
Carrots also have many fun purposes other than culinary. As many people know, by consuming a large quantity of carrots, your skin will sometimes turn a very light shade of orange, especially around the palms and soles of the feet. Also, carrots will occasionally look like people, thank you for your time.
